Lois & Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art

The 80,000 sq. ft. Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art in downtown Cincinnati was world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid's first project in North America. Hailed by the New York Times Architecture Critic Herbert Muschamp as "the most important American building to be completed since the cold war," this building was designed to give the impression of being carved out of one single piece of concrete.

Schöck Isokorb® structural thermal breaks were used for concrete-to-concrete connections in the cantilever elements of the building design, transferring positive and negative bending moments as well as positive and negative shear forces.
