Schöck Tronsole® type F enables acoustically insulated connections between prefabricated stairs and landings. Schöck Tronsole® type F separates stairs and landing across the entire surface, thus minimising the risk of acoustic bridges.

Elastomer bearing

Schöck Elodur® is an elastomer bearing that was developed specifically for impact sound insulation. It is the key component in Schöck Tronsole®. In the case of the Tronsole® type F it is a high-quality and efficient linear bearing. The width of the elastomer bearing can vary depending on the required shear force level. Unlike conventional impact sound insulation supports, Schöck Tronsole® achieves an improvement of about 10 dB in impact sound insulation performance by using the elastomer bearing, Schöck Elodur®. This is approximately equivalent to about half the perceived loudness level.
