Schöck Tronsole® type T
Schöck Tronsole® type T can be used for acoustically insulated connections between in-situ concrete or prefabricated stairs and in-situ concrete or element landings. The range covers all landing thicknesses and stair widths. Connections do not require corbels. For sophisticated architectural designs.

- Schöck Elodur® elastomer support
Ensures an impact sound level delta of ∆Lw* ≥ 27 dB to ∆Lw* ≥ 33 dB on all products, tested to DIN 7396. - Fire resistance class R90
Complies with the requirements for fire resistance class R90 (subject to appropriate on-site additional reinforcement of the landing) - Suitable for emergency exits
Confirmed in the fire safety certificate - Straight joint profile
Enables straight joints and easy removal of formwork at the prefabricating plant or on site - Customised
Type T can either be cut to length or ordered in the required length. Minimum lengths apply. - Integrated gripper
For easy fastening to the formwork
Staircase systems
Impact sound insulation element for connecting staircases to landings with a straight joint.
For insulating impact sound at the joint between stairs and wall.
Impact sound insulation element for connecting landings to staircase walls.
Straight staircase, insulated stairs and landing
Acoustic insulation of stairs to landing using Schöck Tronsole® type T, of landing to wall using Tronsole® type Z. Tronsole® type L insulates stairs to wall. This produces the blue line around the acoustically insulated staircase – a seal of quality for superior impact sound insulation.
Impact sound insulation element for connecting staircases to landings with a straight joint.
For insulating impact sound at the joint between stairs and wall.
Impact sound insulation element for connecting landings to staircase walls.
Worth knowing about Schöck Tronsole®
Elastomer bearing
Schöck Elodur® is an elastomer bearing that was developed specifically for impact sound insulation. It is the key component in Schöck Tronsole®. In the case of the Tronsole® type T, the Elodur® elastomer bearing is integrated in the support corbels for acoustic decoupling. Unlike conventional impact sound insulation supports, Schöck Tronsole® achieves an improvement of about 10 dB in impact sound insulation performance by using the elastomer bearing, Schöck Elodur®. This is approximately equivalent to about half the perceived loudness level.
